– After nearly three decades of abolition, Kabaka Mutebi’s coronation in 1993 marked the revival of Buganda’s monarchy.

– He reestablished the Lukiiko (Buganda Parliament), reinforcing traditional governance within Uganda’s modern framework.

 Cultural Preservation & Revival

– Spearheaded efforts to revive clan structures, promote Luganda language, and preserve Buganda’s heritage.

– His reign, known as Omulembe Omutebi, is celebrated for its emphasis on cultural identity and unity.
